amazing, but perhaps a little sad? either way, we're glad you appreciate it... it's actually just a way of seperating ourselves from every band in the universe that wants to put their posters on other people's pages and promote themselves without regard for the person at the other end. screw that... we are promoting ourselves, because that's what you have to do, but we refuse to be impersonal about it... which means that i spend long hours on myspace writing to people! but it's nice too, when people come to shows, we always have something to talk about! (in your case, for instance, that legendary sign sticking out of your shirt will be an obvious starting point.)

hi there alison. i think there is a piece of paper tucked in your shirt which is telling me to fuck myself! but since i don't know how to take a hint, i'm going to barrel on ahead as if i didn't notice, and propose that if you are not diong anything on june 22nd (5 days after your birthday extravaganza, i gather) then perhaps you might join us at the times change(d) for a night of excellent music. failing that, we will be at the cavern on june 28th, also planning to play some excellent music. if you do come, perhaps you should bring the 'fuck you' paper, so that we will know who you are.

hi alison! thanks for being our myspace comrade! having had a quick glance at your "blog, " i see that you have the same appreciation for starch that i do. god DAMN, why don't more people like potatoes? it makes me so mad when i think of all those people eating carrots, celery and spinach when there are so many delicious potatoes out there, just begging for it. wow, i'm so glad we were able to connect on this level. if tom ever shuts down myspace, i truly don't know how i'll be able to carry on.
