Bob,
When will you have time to post another blog. The songwriter's workshop was just wonderful. Like to hear some types or just talking about it in general.
Any chance of that in the near future?
Best blessings,

Hi, Bob. I underwent a sort of Christian men's initiation rite and chastening last week, and some of your work was playing in my head as I did my fasting and meditation day. Most notably Man of the Tombs, and some of the Bright Avenue stuff... just for the vulnerability and courage you found, to bring your deep pain to those songs and let it be transformed on behalf of us in the audience. So thanks. Hope you make it out Chicago way sometime. I'll introduce myself.

I am really digging the video. I saw you way back in the 80's with a patient of mine, a 16 year old girl with cancer....... she died soon after, knowing Jesus, thanks to you... (I'm not good at witnessing LOL), no seriously, she loved your concert so much.
Your voice brings me to a place when I was first "saved"... and it feels so simple, and so perfect...thank you so very much,
peace,
Kim

Hello, and thanks for the fish, oops, i mean for the music.LOL I have been blessed by your music for years and pray those blessings right back on ya! Seeing you "in concert" at CCCM eons ago, was the just the catalyst i needed to learn how to play the guitar (very basically, of course) and letting the music flow from me. I am a pianist, but it's easier for me compose on the guitar. I remember that during the concert, you were playing a 12 string and the strings kept breaking , and you played until you ran out of strings. Be blessed and you are in my prayers.

Hey, Bob, I have yet to meet you, but you have been a huge influence in my life; it was so cool to read your words about Pierce Pettis. I took the pic he seems to be using on MySpace and other spaces so I feel somewhat connected! james in St.

What an honor to post a message here, Mr. Bennett. I had the privilege of seeing you in concert many years ago here in PA in a place called Spruce Lake Retreat. I have been a fan since your music hit the scene and you are one of my all time favorite songwriters. The song "Man of the tombs" is one example of your exceptional skill. God bless and keep you and continue to give you new songs for Him.

Hi Bob, haven't seen you in a while, hope you're doing well. I know you got Phil, but if you ever need some guitar parts (in addition to the awesome stuff you do), I'm cheaper! I was heart broken that we lost Duke. We had talked about hookin' up when I moved up here. But eventually I hope to be moving to the same place he is now. I guess I'm just following him around.
Stay in touch,

Hey Bob, thanks much for the add from a longtime fan. I discovered your beautiful voice on the At the Foot of the Cross project back when it was released. Songs from Bright Avenue was my first and it remains my personal favorite. Thanks for the great music over the years.
All the best from a fan in Talladega,

Bob,
Stumbled onto your website and now we're friends...wow...a lot can happen in a day. I used to DJ for Christian radio in Kentucky and I remember a listener calling in so mad cause I cut the whole musical part out of "mountain cathedrals" to time to the top of the hour news...that listener was right. What was I thinking?! But I was 19. Years later I still love your music but lost touch after "small graces". Glad to find you again and that you connected with signpost (I lived in Canada for 8 years and saw Mr. Bell annually). Now I'm in California just waiting for you to come play close enough to Modesto. Thanks for the add.

Thanks for the kind mention under "Who I'd Like to Meet".
Believe me, I'd jump at the chance to keep company with the other names on that list! Best regards, Bob Bennett
Bob, thanks for the note...been too long to get back to you. Your music has truly blessed me and the friends and family I've shared it with over the years! My favorite is 'Mountain Cathedrals'...I set a slide show of Yosemite pics from the Autumn season to it...it is such a heartfelt and vibrant song!

Happy Birthday, way after the fact indeed! Do you remember the home Bible study we attended (I think the hosts name was Marie...)way back in the late 70's The details get fuzzy with age, as does everything else, but I seem to remember either David or Brian being the leaders. Oh the trips down memory lane.
I just don't remember the lane being so foggy at the time!!!
Blessings my friend!
