Can you beat my score on this quiz?

I got 72%. Can you do any better?

Yeah, it looks like we're going to have good weather for it, too. Hopefully, I can get some writing done.

Speaking of which, I've got a question for you.
Do you write every day? And if so, how the hell do you do it?

Hey, what's up? Got any plans for the 4th? I will be taking full advantage of the three-day weekend by doing as little as possible with a beer in my hand.
Salut!

Hey how ya been? I added Sarah too. We say this a lot but we really need to try and get together and hang out. The girls are growing up fast. Ashton will be 15 on sun, and has her drivers permit, Lauren is 11, and just finished softball. Bill is good too :-) Keep in touch.
Hey hows the writing going? Take care!

It's crazy, isn't it? The competition, I mean. The internet cracked it all wide open, in my opinion, when it comes to music, books, movies. Everyone has a voice, whether others want to listen or not. heh

Your favorite book list is impressive. Could you point me to some of your stuff? I like to check out the local talent and all that.

I've been writing for about 15 years, poetry and short fiction; currently revising a novel from '94 (I wouldn't recommend it). Also do editing.
Cheers!

Hi there. Are you publishing any of your writing online? I'm just curious, as I was thinking about doing so.
Waiting for lit mags to respond to hard copies takes too long!

In celebration of Bloomsday today, June 16th, check out “Potato I Have” at ELIMAE. It’s a derived text that tracks Joyce’s use of the potato - a talisman for Bloom - in Ulysses.

And, if you’re in the mood for more Joycean derivations, check out “Gate. Safe!” at Admit Two, which tracks the theme of safety and recurring gates imagery throughout Joyce's Ulysses The moment in the book that inspired me occurs in the eighth episode, Lestrygonians: “Gate.
Safe!”

What better way to impress that indie kid with the glasses and tattoos? Let them catch you reading a book.

Josh,
It’s getting late, Morgan’s asleep, she works an early morning Sunday shift tomorrow at a grill downtown among those shouldery buildings perched over the sound, she’s up at 4:30Am most days, not long after I’ve come into bed with beer on my breath and the smell of the pub.
I’m smoking a cigar right now and doing promotional work on-line and I thought about you. Christ, it’s been three months since I left Michigan and I’m still sorry we didn’t get that last great chance to hangout. I miss those old “writer meetings.” I hope you’re still at it, giving it hell. Drop me a line some time and catch me up. I keep asking myself what the odds are I’ll end up a bookie? I still don’t know.

Hey thanks for the add. It's always nice to meet new friends who enjoy my music and I'm pleased you like what you've heard so far.

Now I'd like to invite you to enjoy a whole half an hour program of music on my NEW Classic Cool Music Channel.

All you need is a good cup of coffee, a bit of quality time and your imagination to let Bellatrix weave her magic.... the treat is on me.

Rene

PS. Don't forget that I'm an ONLINE ARTIST - you won't find me at your local record shop.

So, what kind of madness is this? I haven’t seen you for months and a day. Let’s have a few beers and a cigar sometime soon. Drop me a line.

Hey, would you and Sarah like to go the Renaissance Festival with Joe and I on Sept 9th? I think it'd be a lot of fun! Also, if Joe got bored he'd have you and Sarah and I could look in the shops :) It's a really fun place though. Fun stuff, jousts, plays, etc.

Hey Josh! Writing anything new? Also, have you read Life of Pi yet? You really must read it, and the Count of Monte Cristo - that's just a travesty that you haven't read it! For shame :)
