This book is definitely a good idea. Parents shouldn't just use scare tactics to keep their children from doing substances they don't want them doing. Educating them on the substances is a good idea in my opinion.
I hope this book is around for a long, long time because I'm going to buy it for my children if I ever have any.
I don't even smoke pot, but I still believe in what this book teaches.

This is a fantastic work, a solid mantra of neutral information. It flies in the face of a despairing bombardment, of unhealthy propaganda and fear mongering so well-known to children. It provides a voice of reason, and insight into our less-than-bleak reality where marijuana is more bountiful than the established forces of suppression and oppression would want you to believe. This should be the required textbook for every drug education program.

I just ordered the book. thanks for the add too.

I started when I was 16, I dont drink or smoke cigarettes. I happen to be the type of person who doesnt get addicted to things but I know a lot of my friends are and because of pot have tried 'harder' drugs. I think if they waited until they were at least 18 to start then they wouldnt have felt that they needed to get higher.

I have a real problem with people who smoke weed and dont know anything about it, the people who think its bad for them but do it anyway. Those are the types of people that make it a 'gateway drug'. I think if more children read this book and or get educated about it then we wouldnt have this problem anymore. MJ would be, should be, and will be much more widely accepted than alchohol is now. Its better for you anyway.

Thanks for the add, I am so glad someone has written a book for children, there is so much confusion around this, with our strange laws and even weirder belief systems in this county..my 6 year old loves the plant. She has seen them growing around here in mendo county and sees its magic and healing properties by just seeing it. This book needs to be in this county for sure, because it is the lively hood of many around these parts, and many have children...I will spread the word...Blessings to you...light and truth always wins in the end.
