Adam Gōn-chashAdam Gaciarz	Apr 26, 2009 7:54 PM hey i actually really wanted to go dan deacon last night, but the band I manage Kids and Animals were playing a show at Bop Street Records with The Lost Episode and Ambulance (it was their CD Release), so none of us could come to Vera. :( But the upside was that there was really a surprising amount of people at Bop Street for the show, and man, Ambulance really pulled off something that I thought was hard to achieve as a young upcoming band. They pulled off looking "cool", their music was smooth and interesting, and got everyone tapping their feet and having a good time, but you know it wasn't like one of those bands where that good time seems kinda forced, I don't know how to explain it exactly, but like they didn't seem too humble or too obnoxious, they weren't shy but they weren't crazily like attention-wanting, they just played as a band, really well connected, on one wavelength, everything was obviously been practiced a lot, and they could bop up and down together and really feel the music. I just think that's super commendable and hard to find in a lotta young bands. Then again, a lotta bands can do it. I donno, I just think Ambulance was bomb. :) how was Dan Deacon?!
