Teddy Boy WardWard Elliott	Nov 13, 2009 12:50 PM A few "thumbs UP's & some thumbs DOWN's"...OK a "thumbs UP" It's been awhile since I seen Lee so great to see he's coming back to San Diego. BUT a "thumbs DOWN" to the place he's playing.It's at one of our Casinos here "in town" a long way from actual "San Diego" (another thumb's DOWN too) The show is FREE! (so thumbs UP) BUT...me and my pal thought why don't we get a room there so we won't drive drunk back and have a good time in the Casino afterwards. BUT (and here is THE BIG thumb's DOWN) Pala Casino's CHEAPEST room is F'n $180 for one night! Come on Pala this ain't Vegas!I thought the whole point of going to these Casinos was to gamble (NOT to pay that much JUST for the room) They give you these BIG buffets real cheap as insentive to come there and eat and gamble,why not the rooms too?! Nobody wants to drive over a hour from here in S.D. to a Casino in the middle of nowhere (let's just say NOT the most romantic place)to pay that much for JUST the room,that should be going in the slots/tables etc...So BIG thumbs UP for the show BUT,a BIG thumbs DOWN to Pala Casino for thier room rates.

Teddy Boy WardWard Elliott	Jul 21, 2009 10:50 PM I'll be seein ya up @ Pala Casino BUT...(on a sad note) The last place you played here in San Diego (Canes) with The Supersuckers burned down this weekend.It's going to be rebuilt but it'll take time.Real sad cause (club wise)in S.D The Casbah/Belly Up rule,Teo Leos sucks (and you/Brophy both) know how I just HATED Anthology!Canes was putting on some good shows recently so when it does get rebuilt,come back to S.D. and play there.
