I read your blog and I am sad. I send you and your mother hugs. You got me thinking and I went out and got your mother a card. I attended a benefit party where local bands played for free and there was a 10 dollar cover. Another party, friends and family donated food and prizes. All you can eat and consume for $25. I am sure you can get a place for free to have a benefit.
