yeah we did come down to record :) and yes, it was FFAF's old label. It was such a cool time, if you read through the bands old blogs and posts going back a year or so you will see XD haha

but yar I been in this band since 2003 and love every second of it, been playing guitar since I was 16 also and built up quite a collection of guitars and gear along the way.

cars + guitars + music = me lol

for sure I'll let you know :) I know Rhodri aswell, Matt Davis' brother through Myspace aswell and have talked to him regularly lol. I met Funeral back in 2003 during the "Juneau" tour at the Birmingham Academy and got them all to sign my ticket.


Here's a random fact for you aswell.... our songs have been recorded at Mighty Atom in Swansea (home of Funeral for a Friend, Hondo Maclean, Million Dead, Kubrick, Brigade etc...) and recorded by Joe Gibb and Geth Woolcock... just thought you ought to know :P

on my birthday I had a nice meal with the girlfriend and her family.

She is the love of my life and in some small way, I was in the happiest place I could be on my birthday and being so close to Pete's birthday I just hope he was in the happiest place he could be too around the same time I was happy. If that makes sense??? It does to me.


But yeah the band does sound FFAF-ish I suppose but more like their older stuff, not so much their newer stuff :) which I prefer anyways.


But I shall name the song - "Life too short (the clock is ticking) " and I shall let everyone know when it is written and recorded.


Shame you're all the way in Wales cause I'd love for you to be at a show.
When we do a Wales show or nearby, you'd have to make it a special thing to come along to see us play :) x

I was 25 on the 29th October. I know I haven't been able to think about anything else all day apart from what happened to Pete. I met him only once at a RR day but he was such a top bloke and part of me wish I never met him... that way it wouldn't be burned into my mind just what a decent bloke he is :( you know?


shite I'm welling up thinking about it. Thank you for you message though Lynds i feel so numb, like everyone does.


thanks for the band comments, we're not too bad I suppose :-P I am thinking of writing a song to the title of "life is too short" and dedicating it to Pete's life.

Yeah it was the holiday I was on about. Me and the missus went and had the ebst time, we really miss it.

I'm 25 today.... doh it's a tough one being old and all. But I'm into allsorts of music. Devil Wears Prada are a band, yes.... around well before that damn chick flick hit the cinemas lol.

I got my labret pierced and that's it but got a whole host of tattoo's planned. I'm into alsorts of music... right now, listening ti Devil Wears Prada, Killswitch Engage, Funeral For A Friend, Between The Buried and Me etc... but also the mrs has got me into Chris Brown, NeYo, Taio Cruz etc... all manners of stuff I listen to.


But yeah... my pics aren't that great tbh

Thanks. So I see you must be very interested in Japanese culture, thats cool its always nice to meet someone who shares the affinity for all things japanese. Having been there a few times its only increased my aprreciation for the country and the people. And the fact that i have relatives and cousins over there helps bridge that connection. If you really have an interest in going to japan i would definitely encourage going there, you will not be dissapointed. My experiences there were amazing.

Honestly I have no idea what I would do there.. And to tell you the truth I would take anything small even if it was like translating or some crap just to beable to make some small profit to live there. Hell even a small one room apartment in Tokyo sounds very very nice. But idk it depends. I heard the best way to start living there for foreigners is to buddy up with another pseron and then share rent. I know a few people from america that are over there and even a few Japanese people themselves. But idk I take things day by day so there is no telling what I would do.
