Am kommenden Wochenende, am Samstag und am Sonntag, werden wir, für zwei Tage die Innsbrucker PMK mit lächelnden Gesichtern und schöner Musik füllen.
Zum ersten Mal findet ein zweitägiges Instrumental- und Post-Rock Festival mit internationalen Bands in Innsbruck statt. Wir präsentieren eine auserlesene Schar an hochwertigen Bands aus den USA, Frankreich und Deutschland. Gleich am ersten Abend steht mit THIS WILL DESTROY YOU ein richtig dicker Brocken auf der Bühne. Diese Band kann sich mit ihrem atmosphärischen, instrumentalen Post-Rock gut und gerne mit Truppen wie Sigur Rós oder Mogwai messen – zwar nicht vom Bekanntheitsgrad her, aber musikalisch auf jeden Fall. Auch CASPIAN aus Amerika und STELLARDRIVE aus Frankreich, die Headliner des zweiten Tages, verzichten so gut wie komplett auf Gesang (sieht man von ein paar Sprachfetzen ab) und glänzen stattdessen mit teils sehr langen Soundteppichen samt komplexer Melodieführung.
Ergänzt wird das Festival-Lineup mit heimischen DJs und untermalt mit multimedialen Installationen. Beim A SUNDAY SMILE FESTIVAL sind grenzenlose Klanglandschaften von ruhigem Ambient über experimentelle Elektronik bis hin zu massiven Gitarrenwänden zu erwarten.
Die Gurken freuen sich lächelnd auf euer Kommen!!
PS: Eintritt nur mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht plus 12E für einen Tag Lächeln und 18E für den unschlagbaren 2 – Tagespass!

31 KNOTS ...wobei sie nie vergessen, dass ein Rocksong vor allem eines muss: rocken. Ergreifender Post-Hardcore-Indierock, in einer sehr eigenständigen Spielart und in extrem trockenem Sound.




Ray sind Soundtechnisch brillant und mit psychedelischen Anleihen versehen, gelingt es der Band...die stets jedes überflüssige Pathos vermeidet.

Im perfekten David-Lynch-Film wären Les Hommes Sauvages die Band on stage im Nightclub. 1999 gegründet erspielte sich die Formation um den ehemaligen Swans- Gitarristen Kristof Hahn und die Tumbling Hearts Sängerin Viola Limpet einen hervorragenden Ruf in ihrer Heimatstadt Berlin.
