Stainage Records launches its free download offshoot – Stainage Off The Records.

We start with The Dog politik EP



'What you see and what you hear it's for real', you've been warned. Dense cinematic atmos and piercing basslines confront with razor sharp beats setting the tone for a steppy trip through Grimelock's sonic view of 'Dog Politik'.

The story is continued with 'Gorilla March' alongside Alchemyst. Dub heavy pads and stabs coming straight from a big rave flashback that echoes and glows until the bass drops and the beats kick in pumping out the air out of your lungs.

DJ's Lil'Vic en Danny de Funk brengen op zaterdag 28 november vanuit de hoofdstedelijke dansgelegenheid Bitterzoet een ode aan de stad waar alles plat is, behalve de tieten. Niemand minder dan Cocaine Cowboys Willie Wartaal en Bas Bron begeleiden de heren met een gebalanceerde mix van smakeloosheid, platvloerse geilheid, ordinaire mensen, mint-groene huizen en een gezonde dosis Maybach Music.

Muziekreis door het Berlijn van toen en nu - van jazzhel tot technohemel is een boek dat in slechts 4,5 maand volledig is uitverkocht. De tweede druk van het boek ligt inmiddels bij de drukker en wordt eind oktober verwacht. Wie tussen nu en 25 oktober het boek online besteld, maakt dus in feite een reservering voor een exemplaar van de 2e druk. En dat belonen we graag! Inmiddels zijn 225 boeken verkocht en de pers is positief over Muziekreis door het Berlijn van toen en nu - van jazzhel tot technohemel.

‘Het boek is over de gehele linie - algemene geschiedenis en muziekgeschiedenis - toegankelijk geschreven en bevat talrijke anekdotes.’
‘Alles wat langs moet komen komt dan ook langs: de jazzgekte van de jaren '20, de Schlagers van de jaren '30 en '40, Rock'n Roll, Punk, Techno - alles.’

Festivalinfo.nl:
