With the Fsharp root note with G shape is it the same as G/F#

Hello Farryl, how are you? Here on the island we are having a wonderful spring. The weather is hot and inviting and everywhere are tiny flowers lighting up the fields! I am also having a great time with my new cd and the videoclip which are almost completed now, while I started the summer performances too, going on until November.
