Excuse the liberty, but I thought you might like to know of an evening of dark postpunk and new wave music, at The Salutation Inn, Hounds Gate, Nottingham on Thursday 29th October.

Live bands are Lupine, and Luxury Stranger - doors are at 8pm.

Thanks ever so much for coming to see us tonight (or last night) and for bringing the rest of the Kull with you - nice to see Nottm bands supporting each other :o)

As I said earlier to you, we're doing some pics on the 21st and then going to see a friend/band so we'll pop over to catch you @ the Rescue Rooms... be good to chat at some point too about a few things ;o)

hey!

i am the german guy your guitarist and his girlfriend shared a ticket with on the train to hamburg. thank you again for giving me a copy of your new album. its very impressive! i am so glad that i had the opportunity to listen to it as an unmastered edition - which felt quite special.

so, be sure that you have the first fans in germany now, since i showed some tracks to friends of mine and they all liked it.

you should definitely tour germany some day!

"The Bad Shepherds play punk songs on folk instruments. Not as a gag, but because we really like the noise. We think the songs are better than people remember. We love folk instruments. It works.

We do songs by The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Stranglers The Jam, Sham 69, The Undertones, Talking Heads, Squeeze and others, even Kraftwerk! Alright, they're not all punk, but they come from roughly the same era.

We've mostly given the songs a kind of Celtic feel, and we've stuck in the odd reel and jig here and there. But occassionally we just thrash! I've always thought the excitement of a reel taking off is the nearest thing to the excitement of watching punk live in the 70's."
