Great review of the Tattoo Rock Parlour show in Now Magazine, 'Toronto's Modern Superstitions may soon hit pay dirt. By tying together Motown hooks, punk bass lines, pyschedelic undertones and surf-rock guitar solos, they've found their groove'

Very good show at the Horseshoe last night, it'd been such a long time since we'd seen you guys live - and it was definitely a grea tset of real rock 'n' roll from you.
Lonely Vagabond

That was a great set at The Horseshoe. When it comes to good old-fashioned rock and roll, simplicity is the best approach, delivering timeless bits of 60’s-esque garage-pop soaked with bursts of energy and brisk hooks. Offering sing-along choruses, crisp guitar-jangle, and dreamily seductive vocals, the music resonates with a surprising catchiness of a vinyl record whirling in a vintage jukebox. The Superstitions manage to take classic genres and make it sound refreshing and relevant.

Nice review of the No Shame set at Sneaky Dee's in this issue of Now Magazine, 'Local teenage garage rockers the Superstitions, who opened the night, sound like a bluesier Debbie Harry singing over a more rock ’n’ roll version of the Jam'

Excellent CMW review on Exclaim online for April 'The crowd responded well to the quartet's pop rock sound and singer Nyssa Rosaleen's powerful voice. And what is there to dislike? The songs are simple and the band know their way around a hook.
Though they tread well-worn territory — their brand of garage-y rock peaked with the Posies — when done well live it's hard for even the most hardened music snob to have a bad night'

That was a great set at The Velvet Underground. A brilliant blend of jangly inspired garage-rock, swinging rockabilly, and The British Invasion. A technicolor dream come to life. Lead singer Nyssa has this French chanteuse-meets-60’s girl group type charisma, fleshed-out by fuzzy-psych fueled riffs and infectious melodies that revisit the hip-shaking swagger of classic pop-art bands. The golden age of rock and roll continues to live on.

That was an amazing set at The Horseshoe. Ontop of that, props on the CD review in this issue of Exclaim Magazine 'This Toronto quartet have already mastered the art of rock'n'rolling.
The musicianship is polished, controlled and imaginative, while Nyssa Rosaleen's vocals are a devastating force of nature'
