Well it was the picture from your album that interested me,er the friend request. Originally what I was searching for was more in the line of ghosts than indie jams.

Behold The Schoolboy Vicar. That was a great set at The Boat. A fleeting electro-cabaret that infuses the spirit of George Formby, Tiny Tim, Sparks, San Francisco beat-poet, under the delightful quick-wit humour of 60's England. A cheeky, chirpy, entertainer, relentless minimalism that can turn the stage into a theatrical beacon for the idiosyncratic challenged. A script, a soundtrack, that's neverending.

. I got myself a ticket to the Fucked Up show tonight(w/ Final Fantasy, $100, Vivian Girls, and Katie Stelmanis), so won't be coming by the Boat, but hope the show's a blast! :-)
I will come to a show in 2009, though, promise.

A swashbuckling cavalier, a gentle poetic heart, accompanied by a musical collage that soars of romanticism.

The Headmasters Ritual according to Ross Hawkins. That was a great set at The Drake. The swashbuckling romantic morphs into schoolboy channeling musical theatricality, through voice, and a lo-fi synth. A touch of Carry On films, intellectual musings of vintage poetry, and the timeless heartfelt warmth of the singer songwriter. Frankly Mr Shankly--you cannot deny us of impassioned songcraft.

Great CD review in this issue of Eye Magazine 'While Hawkins is a writer of some real wit, his songs are often overwhelmed by the unceasing archness of his delivery and the mannered theatricality of the whole project'

well our manager says yes... but

would suggest otherwise (at least so far). So I'm not sure; but it does seem likely.
If I had to come up with a percentage, I would say 90%.
