Chicks Dig Scars - Chapter One

Chicks dig scars, everyone knows that, right? Meet Severence DeSnappio, a man who creates ‘fake’ injuries for desperate clients. He’ll get you a stab wound, shot gun blast, snowboarding injury - but a bite from a great white shark?

Robots From Mars

You have a great website here…
There’s lots of room to spread out and put your feet up.
The mood that you create is just right.
It’s a perfect place!

And did we mention that The ROBOTS FROM MARS have a new song, “Spaceship Earth”?

“Better plug your ears so that your brains don’t leak out…”
Johnny Air Guitar.

Visit their My Space page to experience the #1 song from the Red Planet.
The reviews have begun to come in:

“Spaceship Earth is destined to become the worst song of all time!”
The Psychic News Network

“Spaceship Earth sounds like it was played by a bunch of drunken robots…”
The Snob Blog & Party Hearty Militia

“Can’t wait to jam with the Robots From Mars!”
Bill Clinton

“Yuck…The Robots From Mars sound like Devo on uppers…”
George W.

“The Robots From Mars are incredibly boring in a heavy handed low brow sort of way.”
Dick Cheney

“Spaceship Earth will take you to a place that you don’t want to go!”
Barak Obama

“Just like some Democrats we know,” John McCain

“If you are really really BUZZED and you squint really really hard, the Robots From Mars don’t SOUND half bad,” Bender,
“And it shouldn’t matter that they paid me to say that…
I still get to keep the money, right?”
Brète (Rad Nutcracker)

Hello from the Red Planet!

HAPPY BELATED ACROSS THE UNIVERSE DAY!!!
From the ROBOTS FROM MARS

Music from Earth has been deliberately launched into space by humankind. Other than attaching a disc to a spacecraft or randomly broadcasting TV and radio signals, the Third Planet has never before attempted to share it’s musical culture with the Heavens.
A Beatles song has been beamed out into the galaxy. NASA broadcasted the song, "Across the Universe", through the transmitters of its deep space communications network on the 40th anniversary of the songs recording at London's Abbey Road studios. February 4th also commemorated the space agency's 50th anniversary. The music was converted into digital data and sent on a 431 light year-journey towards Polaris, the North Star. The broadcast began its galactic crossing at 7 p.m. EST/February 4th 2008. Martian Side note: It might take awhile for the flower children around Polaris to respond to this broadcast. They prefer space polkas and hate all forms of technology.

Just wanted to let you (and your comment-reading friends) know that GUD Issue 2 is now available for purchase!

And if you create a GUD Magazine acccount, you'll get a full story or poem from the issue free, just to show you what we're made of!

Issue 2 celebrates Heaven, Earth, and Space in-between; it is touched by religion, grounded in technology and comfortable with the occult.

Including a language-stretching piece triggered by the Talmud from the legendary Hugh Fox, poems by haiku heavy-hitter Jim Kacian, the surprisingly touching “By Zombies; Eaten” from Christopher William Buecheler, and an alien perspective on human spirituality by Tina Connolly in the remarkable “The Salivary Reflex”

— all part of a drool-worthy two-hundred page selection of over twenty authors and artists.
