As well a Scottish, Irish and American folk/roots music I’ll be chatting with Paddy Callaghan about being selected for the finals of the BBC Young Trad Musician of the Year and hear him playing the harp and box. Lost Colt	Aug 6, 2009 4:08 PM LOST COLT FRIENDs OF THE MONTH: August - "The Rizdales", "Ninety Pounds of Ugly" and the "Elmdale House Tavern" are all coming together on August the 15th for an alt-contry extravaganza !  Steve, the drummer in the Rizdales, used to play with Rick in the London [Ont] bands, Adam West and Lot 49.  The Rizdales put on an authentic, old time, Saturday night, country show and Ninety Pounds of Ugly features the gorgeous and talented Patsy Clash with the, maybe not so gorgeous, but, truly talented, Lefty McRighty.  And if you've never been to the Elmdale Tavern and you have some 'old country bones' in your body, treat yourself to a night at the place, 'cause it will feel like going home.
