Great show last Friday night!
Your latest sound reminds me of some of my favorites from childhood, namely these guys (in addition to, of course, the Clinton/Bootsy Parliament/P-Funk/Funkadelic gang):

Tory! I really enjoyed your show at Webster the other weekend, very cool! I am throwing a bellydance and music event at Ciceros on Sunday, June 14, I hope you and Venus can make it out for this! x Cora

How great is Bejart's Bhakti? Seriously, why is this not a part of your live shows?
although that choreography is looking a bit aped from Nijinska's Bolero, y'know?
God, I can't believe I just typed that without wearing a monocle...

TORY!!!
Thanks for accepting my request.
I remember you coming in one day singing the rock opera "jesus christ superstar" with full red mohawk. I still tell that story from time to time. Glad to see you here. You'll have to come out to the old neighborhood and check out the studio sometime, you may have to rob a bank to get the gas money.

Funny thing I just found about you...
There's a group on facebook called "You know you're from Clayton when..." and a bunch of students write things about Clayton. I was reading through the comments and there's 6 or 7 that are about you and World News!
"You know youre from clayton if you would go into world news just to see what kind of crazy things Tory z Starbuck would say or do."
Followed by
"I love that dude!!!" and the such :)

One of, if not the, most prolific artist in St. Louis history. His talent knows no bounds and his importance is often overlooked. Never underestimate the power of self expression. Tory is a great artist and a deep, real person. Never stop being you (like you could). MUCH RESPECT, HOMIE!

Tory,
MEOW!
I just wanted to let you know that I think you are awesome. You are one of my biggest inspirations. You are perhaps THE reason I became interested in more than just drums-bass-guitars-and-vocals-punk-rock-and-roll. I bought my first synthesizer because of you, and I think of you and your art each time I turn a knob or flick a switch.
I sometimes miss the regular Next Radio sessions at Cheap TRX... and your faboo smart drinks, maybe mostly because I keep finding out about these SLAM gigs after the fact. I suppose it's a bit silly to be nostalgiac for the past, I mean, my nostalgia for an age yet to come is already overflowing (it's a sticky mess no one should have to deal with.) I look forward to the day when all of St. Louis and the world buzzes about your new release, chatting it up at the holobars and space elevators.
Until then...
Zing pop kerplwoink!

Tory Z! I was remembering back to the days of Cafe Chaos in the U City Loop and the shows you played while I was working there. Some of the coolest and most unusual music I've heard. Glad to see you're still going strong. Let me know if you're ever in the socal area!

Hey, good show on Friday. It's good to see you again. My dad and I agreed that "Sky Bandwidth" is great. It's cool to see you use a jazzier rhythm/approach once in a while.
