Please forgive me for posting a little political spam as I try to get out the vote for the MI primary. A note for Michigan primary voters: I am a Detroiter living in Des Moines. From the onset of this fiasco, I was on Michigan's side. Anyone that pays attention to the nomination process can see that it is much like any sporting event in that momentum plays a huge part in who comes out on top. Sen. Levin is right in thinking that a larger more diverse state should have a fair shake at deciding who our next president is, especially considering the state of the economy in MI. But, on the other hand, by moving the primary the hands of Michigan's Dems have now been tied behind their backs. As a result, turnout will be low and Sen. Clinton will easily walk away with the state that would've otherwise been a three way dogfight. I can't help but think that this may have been an under the table deal to hand Clinton all of Michigan's delegates. Hillary did speak at a fundraiser for Sen. Levin not too long ago in Dearborn. Coincidence or not, she remains the only major candidate on the primary ballot. If Sen. Levin is accurate in his assumption that Michigan will in fact seat it's 156 delegates at the national convention, then the Jan. 15 primary could in fact play a major role in putting Mrs. Clinton on the November ballot. I agree that Michigan and similar states should have a greater say and play a larger role in creating the momentum necessary, but why try to change the process at such a critical time? All you've done is limited the choices available for Michigan voters. Please get out and vote, and please don't just blindly check the box next to Clinton's name. I'm not saying that she would be a bad choice, but just remember she's not the only choice! If your preference is not on the ballot and you want to truly ha
