Hello there Mister JWH, long time fan...first time MySpacer. And also, soon to be first time live performance attender! I'm coming over [from London] to the Santa Monica show. The first thing I heard by your good self was the live album with the 'Live Aid' track on. And now, I'm gonna stick my neck out here and guess that song is no longer in the live set? Nor, I presume, is there any way of ever getting a copy of the album? [That's your cue to amaze and astound now by telling me that strangely enough you just came across a copy in a dusty old box in the back of your wardrobe, and you'll bring it to Santa Monica!]
The new album is excellent as ever....really looking forward to the show.
See ya,
Paul

Thanks for putting up the live band version of "Miss Fortune". There are nuances to this perfomance that adds dimensions and new depth to the song.

Wes, brilliant show and night, thanks for making me laugh (not as easy as some might think!) and LOVE the live CD esp. Window Seat (see, I'm learning, song titles...) Really sad I couldn't make the Filo, hope the rest of the tour is fun (and no more dodgy Spanish!)

Wow Wes,

"The End" just outrocked all expectations I had for the "Minus 5 album". It's up there with your best songs.
"Slippery Slide To Bliss" is too, or almost, since it's kind of gotten lost on an EP that I feel lucky to have gotten while it lasted.
Keep up the great work and thank you for the music!
Yours
Y.

P.S.: No offense Wes, but I'm finding it kind of funny that the entry from the lady below calls you John.

Okay, after having listened to the new album 4 times on four consecutive daily walks, I will tell honestly that "Who was changed.." is very, very satisfying. Don't have the track names in front of me so pardon me if I don't get titles exactly right: I love "Someday Son", "The End", "Favorite Angel", "Top of the Bottom", "Pandora". Just a really tight album Wes. My favorite since "Why We Fight." Thanks.

Thank you for the add. In my knock on the door I said folkie but that's only a sometimes thing even going back to your early days. I don't perceive anyone calling If You Have Ghosts a folk song (although I suppose an arrangement could be made).
