Chopin is playing in my ears and carrying me away to a world of tea and crumpets, and gardens of dainty flowers and fragile blossoms, white gloves, tight shoes, and hats...I love hats and I never wear them. I’m 50...I shall begin wearing hats now—brightly colored ones with large and rippled edges and maybe an ostentatious flower or two tucked in the band. I’ll let my hair flow loose beneath and I’ll sip my tea and transport myself to other worlds...other times, other eras.
