I'm so glad to hear that! We actually didn't end up going, we couldn't buy tickets anywhere but at the door and we didn't have the cash. But, this weekend we're going to Gathering of the Vibes which I've been looking forward to all year.
It's all so exciting!

hehe...I embroider them on! I use lace for the eyelashes, tulle for the dark circles under her eyes...and tiny bits of silk for the rest...the lip are beaded...but I think I'd rather just embroider them next time using silk thread..thanks for the comment! ;)

Indeed I dig your pins too...so creative that Pixley! I am currently in the process of making a KISS version of a russian stuffed doll...I have been making these creepy dolls and got the urge to do one o Paul Stanely...I thought you might appreciate that...sorry no motely crue ones as of yet..or ever...yuck. Anyhow, well being human def. sucks at times but at least we ain't got 2 heads!..CHECK IT OUT..

Anyhow, I adore your giraffe drawing...they are my all time FAVORITE animals...they just make me so happy...in fact I have realized that animals are so much better than people, it's incredible..that is why I adore your little quirky drawings of them...so cute and so inspiring!

i know what you mean. danbury IS a shit-storm. i missed you though. i faced the usual "coming home conundrum," where someone is always upset that I didn't see them and i am always upset that i didn't see someone. I just need all of my friends in one room, so that I can see everyone (but that's damn near impossible). i miss you lots, next time i'm home I will definitely see you. or come here!

I just looked at your "rainbow chasing" photos. It is an odd coincidence that earlier today, I was admiring similar rainbow colors in some fabric i got at thrift town & feeling really inspired by it.
