Charger Fan Forum ®	May 16, 2009 12:07 AM Hey CFF, We are pleased to announce that this years annual tailgate will be the season opener against Ray Lewis and the Baltimore Ravens. Special shout out to Ryan our Charger brother from West Virginia for lobbying for this game. As many of you know, we are 2-0 at tailgate games. Year one we successfully tailgated with a victory against the Oakland Raiders. Last year, we repeated the tradition with an epic win to start the 2008-2009 playoffs. This was done against the Denver Broncos. Although the NFL season is a few months away, we here at the CFF say that you can never be too early to plan a tailgate. Come share a beer with us, or whatever beverage you chose. We will have more details in the upcoming weeks, and months. Let’s kick off the 2009 NFL season with a home opener win against the Ravens. We must protect our house. Come meet some of the CFF posters that you have all come to love or hate. Let us know if you will be attending! ~mod~

Rivers Gates McNeil Cromartie Merriman Sproles All these players and the fact that LT, and Jamaal Williams are not getting younger. What do you do? Rivers WILL be resigned. Period, but at what cost? He will likely command top tier money. You say that we are going into an uncapped era. I say BULLSHIT! The current economic situation in America will not alow it. Hence lockout is on the horizon. AJ Smith is on record as loving Gates. I think that the front office brass will do everything they can to resign him. This will also factor into the resigning of Rivers. McNeil HAS to be retained! But again, at what price? This guy needs to be around to protect Rivers' backside. Left Tackles in the NFL have the second highest average salary in the NFL. Cromartie, I think is gone. With all the money that we NEED to tie up on our offense, it just stands to reason from a business standpoint that thier has to be cap casualties. Even if they aren't very popular! Merriman I believe will not sign untill he sees what DeMarcus Ware gets. Nonetheless you are looking at Albert Haynesworth money for the both of them. Why not? And the fact that they are MUCH younger than Albert, I see NO reason why those two do not break the pervibial bank. How long do you pay 2 backs 6 mill+ per year? Sproles is ours for this year only! As he was franchised. Rumor has it that he hasn't even signed that tender anyway. As I was saying. This years draft is a direct result into who we are going to let go. I will miss 56! And I just had to buy two of his jerseys!
