You may like to check out my recently released book - 100 Great Albums.
It's a 220 page review of the best music recorded during the period 1965-08 featuring the Beatles,Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Sex Pistols, Joy Division, U2, Nirvana, Radiohead, the Strokes and many more!

My aim is to prolong the existence of something close to my heart, something currently under severe threat from the download generation - The Album! With the modern world increasingly more interested in cherry-picking individual tracks, it seems to me a great shame that the sacred long-player is losing its importance. I'm on a mission to save the album before it's too late.

If you click on the button below you can access further details about the book (including an option to preview some of the content) before deciding whether you want to buy. All the best Andy.

It's an upbeat/melancholy rock track filled with vocal harmonies, wailing guitars and a slight smattering of Euphonium.

HELP US SAVE CAPITOL!!!!

I am absolutely dismayed as to the reasons behind the shutting of Capitol...

Myself and Mandy love working there & we have worked really hard to make sure that every band that comes to OUR venue is treated well & has the best possible sound.

We really do care about Capitol, we look after our kit and the venue to keep it in the best shape we can, putting in LOADS of extra UNPAID hours just to try and make it a cut above the rest of the crap out there in Glasgow, and i think everyone, ourselves, you guys the musicians & all of the great promoters have succeeded in building something rare & special, a venue that actually gives a shit!

I seriously hope G1 will see that this is something worth saving, not just for the sake of a couple of jobs, myself's and Mandy's - but for the sake of the whole Glasgow music scene.
If you've ever played at Capitol, had a good time and been treated well, don't be lethargic if you're sitting there reading this - all it will take is two minutes to leave a comment on the Capitol myspace supporting the cause & hopefully we can swing it!

Click on the banner above to go to the Capitol myspace & help us out!

Cheers.

Hey guys, thanks for the comment - good to have a band in who are friendly and have a good attitude - you'd be amazed at the amount of 'rock stars' out there!, good to work with you.

Hopefully we'll see you back down at Capitol in the near future and definitely love to get you in the studio at some point too! - check out my Son Studios myspace. Situated in sunny Clydebank, Glasgow - amazing deals & a great wee analogue based studio - come & visit us sometime soon!

With that in mind here's a wee something that might come in handy if you do decide to come and visit us...

Keep in touch guys - looking forward to working with you again soon!

Just to say what a damn splendid show you put on last Friday - really great way to start the festival, and I was so pleased to see that not only would you be playing this year again, but on the main stage no less!
Most excellent. And really pleased with another cd.
Here's hoping you will be playing more soon, and in September/October when my friend from America is visiting.
