writing and recording man... taking advantage of my free time. I've got a CD coming out Sept 22 that's more of a business move than a musical move... It's an acoustic cover version of Ben Harper's new CD, and i play piano, guitar, and hand percussion. I can hook you up with an early version if you'd like to check it out... Anyways, just getting the business side of things figured out, and getting ready to start playing shows again in the fall. I may try to come to your Thursday show, but i'm not sure yet.

Hey man, crazy week... I'm sure I'll get a chance to tell you tonight, but sorry i couldn't get in touch with you sooner... no myspace at work. I'll bring my djembe (practiced a little/feel more comfortable) and play if/when you want me to play. I know you're great w/lead stuff and I'd be happy to have you play a few with me. I was thinking we could close with wagon wheel together, but I don't really have a set in mind yet. i'm not sure if i'll make it out tonight... might try to get together later this week... i threw out my back moving this weekend and have some killer allergies. Shoot me your email and i can send you a list of songs that I know/can do with a days notice. Let me know if you want to collab on any of them... Maybe we can get together tuesday or wednesday night? I can do vocal harmonies/play djembe/bongos/shaker/harmonica (C or F) and "rhythm" guitar for as many or as few as you would like to do together :)

hey man i like your stuff.
it would be really awesome if you just broke into a really crazy full band high-speed rock out like two and a half minutes into "closer" though. i was waiting for it. it would be so cool. real abrupt.
