Had a FANTASTIC night, thankyou all xxx As well as the inevitable banner / art work ;-) I also successfully exhibited a piece of artwork printed on a t-shirt entitled "Pissed Off Pal" (you won't have noticed it from onstage) it was worn around London, in the Tate Modern and when I went to see Magne's Alpha Beta exhibition at Paul Stolper!! Ruth	Oct 31, 2009 10:13 AM I think I do understand the end of A-ha- and time is a small part of the equation, friendship dynamics much bigger. Sometimes we all say things to the wrong person or in public at the wrong time which can make things worse. If we look at why we bahve in certain ways we can change and so do our relationships. It takes patience and re-connecting with your past. John Ratcliff would love to hear from you. I would love to write that book with your help. Check my photos and blog on MySpace- more still to come.

Ruth	Oct 29, 2009 2:00 PM Think it very sad that the machine that has become A-ha is still fragmented. Magne says never, Paul says he doesn't want to end it. We learn lessons in childhood outside the classroom- forexample on how to measure success. Parents can make their children money driven, you can think it's all for the family. The big A-happy crowd of A-ha fans respect that Paul is introverted but they also feel he lost his passion for music. I read Tor Marcussens book where he stated Paul played his guitar so that his fingers bled. Music needs passion. That was lesson one. Long lasting friendship needs to be valued above all else- that's the last lesson. Promtion and reading messages is dull- but with passion should come compromise.

Even worse that A-ha stand divided in their opinions even when a break up is announced and Magne and Morten did all the promotion work alone. How sad that childhood friends let work and money spoil a friendship. Time is a great healer and maybe so is the end of A-ha. Money can be the root of all evil but also so is what you are taught as a child that success is all about. Playing music is about the pulse on the guitar through your fingers, your intercation with the audience- not your bank balance. It's hard to interact if you are an introvert and it's hard to unlearn the lessons of a lifetime. Lesson one had passion. The last lesson should have the reason.

It..ll never be the same. How can we pass our years expecting a new album that never came? what about the time we spent on listening the 9 albuns, each one telling a part of our own stories. That..s not enough for you, I know you want more. Sometimes you must be divided on going on with your personal projects and the necessity to keep the band business on. It..s a great problem (and so the convivence too) I know but, you should think that you gained respect and fame by the band, how could you just left it behind? left this story behind? forgotting your fans all over the world. i..m still confused about it all, dear. I could never think that it could be possible - the end? so suddenly? just now! I always thought that A-ha was a solid band, with talentous men, which was doing music for the simple pleasure that northered all their lives. I love you all guys, but remember that each single thing you do from now on, you can have some prestige but it..ll never be the same as it was before with A-ha. Garth	Oct 8, 2009 5:32 AM Love the new A-ha video. I heard that there might be some concerts in the USA next year. If so, I hope you perform in more states then NY. Maybe a concert down in FLORIDA. Come enjoy the warm winters. Maybe make a vacation out of it. If you happen to be looking at mutiple concerts in the U.S. I think the House of Blues venues would fit great with you guys, unless your looking at bigger venue's. I have attending many concerts at the House of Blues in Orlando and in Chicago. Always great place to see shows. Well, fingers crossed that I will get to see you when you come to the U.S. My first time seeing you was by luck. It was during my vacation to London and was planned 6 months in advance and you happen to perform at Royal Albert Hall while I was in London back in 2002. Great show. Love the new a-ha ablum. Look forward to a new Savoy album in the future. All the best.
