Family Groove Company	Oct 25, 2009 8:07 PM It’s hard to believe, but FGC’s only Wisconsin show of the fall is this Thursday 10/29 at the Miramar Theater in Milwaukee. We’re planning on making it a good one, so hope to see you there! The second annual “Family Affair� will feature several bands, a free pre-party, vendors, and more, all benefitting the Huntington’s Disease Society of America. This is an ALL AGES show! Family Groove Company	Jul 12, 2009 11:03 PM FGC hits the Memorial Union Terrace at UW-Madison for a FREE SHOW on Saturday July 18, with special guests, The Bridge, opening the night. This is sure to be a fun night of music in one of Madison’s most beautiful settings, and we hope you can join us! Also coming up in Wisconsin at the end of the month is The 3G’s Music Festival (aka Grateful Garcia Gathering) in Black River Falls. It’s the 6th annual celebration of Jerry Garcia’s birthday, and FGC will be headlining the festivities on Saturday August 1. Whatever you call it, Spring is upon us in the Northern Hemisphere on March 21st this year. It is a magical day when light and dark are in equal balance. Some people claim to be able to stand an egg on end at this time of year. This is not a lie, but the truth is that it can be done on any other day of the year. If you have the funds, hop on down to Mexico and Chichen Itza. The Pyramid of Kukulkar draws crowds from around the globe at both the spring and fall equinoxes. It is aligned to highlight a plumed serpent that cascades down the steps when hit by the equinox sun. Pretty impressive for a “primitive” society. Whether you’re waiting for the Easter Bunny or calling the corners, enjoy the rite of spring and the return of hope it brings. ~CA
