Yo we're playing a Road to Hogmanay showcase @ George Square tomorrow night. First band is on at 7pm. The show is free with each band competing for a slot @ George Square with Tommy Riley on December 31st. You can vote for your favorite band here:

Glasgow Rhythm & Blues …

Following the stunning success of the inaugural Glasgow R&B Festival we deliver a killer blow to 2009 with the festival's first Hogmanay Hootenanny. The New Year starts with a bang with headline shows from the city's hottest Rhythm & Blues bands and an all star collection of Scotland's top DJ's. The R n' B Festival will once again showcase the very best in contemporary Rhythm & Blues, Soul, Rock n' Roll and Ska.

From 10pm until 5am we will see in the New Year at The V Club (375 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow). The Main Room will house the Festival Dance Floor with live performances from The Five Aces, The Bottleneckers and The Privates Hammond Orchestra. The party will be kept going into the wee hours with star turns from our DJ's. The Upstairs room will be the home of Ska Goes Soul, part chill out room, part house party featuring DJ's playing the best in Soul and Ska Music.

You can now listen to our new single 'Seven Second Stare' and the b-side 'Mirror Face' on our myspace page. They are both new recordings we have completed recently.

Make sure you still go buy them from Tango In the Attic - Seven Second Stare - Single and Amazon or most other online music outlets.

These tracks have been recorded as part of an album which will be released next year.

The single costs just 79p and takes a few clicks to buy so please please go get it!
