i see you've become a lot less self conscious through your choice of photo... i'm still not brave enough to put real pix on the interweb...
We do indeed still meet up to talk comics at Travelling Man. The next one's on thursday 1st Nov (6:30 til about 9:00ish)some people will be discussing a book by adrian tomine, but i haven't read it so i'll be drawing comics in the corner...

i agree, part time would have been so much better. it was tough, but only as tough as you make it for yourself. i'm glad i did it too, but i'm not sure i could recommend it to people.
did you have alison?

Hey Waugh, nice to get an add from a fellow BP anthology contributor. Is it true that the elves and dwarves were wiped out by a giant ateroid?? Fascinating.
I like your stuff, thanx for the add!!!

Yeah, if you send us about 6 of them with an invoice type thing, we'll email you one of our Small Press contracts. Melanchomic has always done well so we'll keep it for a while.
Aces! Can't wait to get some!

Sick of melanchomic?! Never! It's a work of genius, man! We'd love some more if you have any. And I eagerly await new goodness from yourself too! I'll drop Jack a line and let him know - he's the Small Press King(TM) of the Newcastle store.

Meant to say that I'm sending Jack in TM Newcastle a Jeff Brown print - I'll put one in for you too to pick up if that's okay!

Meeting Jeffrey Brown and Simon Pegg was a coup - the only person that could top those for me would be Timothy Dalton!! Would you hate me less if I saved you a signed Jeffrey Brown print? And we want more of your comics for the shop!

No worries! :D (I'm in no way Australian so I'm not sure why I used that phrase...)

Dec 21, 2006 6:49 PM
It'll be the smaller one - the one with three chickens (I think it's 30X80 cm) so with p and p we may be looking closer to £40-45. I've been told to up the price but it's my first painting that's being bought, so I feel like I shouldn't charge too much! Like I said, I'll paint it and then we'll discuss the money side.
If you change your mind, don't worry - I'm sure I'll find him a home! Thanks for the interest though - it's pepped me up a bit! :P

If you're still interested in a Cluck canvas, I've weedled a price.
I think! About £30-40? I'm not sure how to put a price on my own stuff - I don't want to seem egotistical!

your drawing of hands holding a teacup reminded me of the fabled 'goatse' picture.
(if you don't know goatse, do a google image search - or rather don't, its pretty nasty...)
