I try to avoid it, too, but I'm still working on understanding the way lighting works. It's all trial-and-error with me. And yeah, I've done a couple of shoots with Dianna (aka Lolly). She's the one who conned me into doing an indoor shoot last night. lol. The ones of her on my myspace are the ones I did last year before I knew anything about shooting in RAW and manual focusing and photoshop and... well... pretty much anything. lol. It was my first shoot ever! We're really good friends, but I was still nervous as hell. And I'm glad you think I "get it"--that means a lot! :)

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be in a shoot like that OR just be around to learn when you do one! I can't believe you didn't use a flash at all for those. It's amazing!

I just did my first engagement shoot today. It was so much fun. :) I did an indoor shoot for a friend last night, even though I'm not equipped AT ALL for it, but she begged and I gave in. Regular lamps and pop-up flash just don't cut it--duh--but it was fun anyway. I'm definitely definitely getting an external flash and a new lens when refund checks come in January from my school loans.

I've never found something I really enjoy and have a true passion for until I picked up a camera a year ago--and you're partially to thank for that, ma'am, because what you do inspires me. For real.

Do you have a Facebook? I put preview sets from my shoots up on my site there. They're nothing compared to yours, but if you ever get time to glance through them and give me even a tiny bit of feedback, that would be awesome. :)

i had an excellent time hanging out with you last night... well, morning i guess... hahaha! We most def gotta do that again, except next time you can be the model!!!

i hope you got some decent pics out of all that... And i'm glad you were the only one to see me slide right off that stupid chair!!!!! lol ....some model i am!!!!

And let's def talk about our big idea!!! i thought of some more names last night... we should just write down anything at all that we think of & help eachother brainstorm!!!

yeah me and miss priss are great,
she's learning to walk...
she's VERY wobbly but she lets go
of things and takes off with confidence
like she knows she can do it. lol.
she's got her some baby converses.

by the way i looked at kipp and brittany's
pictures and they are AMAZING! i love them.

when we get some extra money we're going
to have to get Cadynce's pictures done again,
since she's almost 1.

I would be afraid to travel to Rock hill with the kids being so little I would need to stay kinda close you know how they get when you travel the littlest bit, fussy and irritable sometimes. Thank you for the offer though and please if you have anything open up I would love to do a session we've always loved your work but wanted to wait until the baby was standing because I wanted a shoot of all of the kids holding hands standing next to eachother from behind, I have seen so many of your poses that are just precious, Ill let you go I know you're a busy girl. Just let me know if somthing opens up thanks sooo much again!

Brandy, hi I was emailing you because I seen that you arent taking anymore booking this year, I wanted to ask you if you happen to have any canceled appointments that I would love to have my familys pictures made, we can wait until next year and if we have too will but I wanted to get in with you as soon as you had somthing come up, your work is amazing I just love it, and I would love for you to be able to capture my children in bueatiful moments as you have these other children you have shot, I love viewing you work!
