The comp turned out great! Glad its circulating round the web hear. Hope it gives a good taste of all these wonderful artists that seem to occupy my ears rather than anything known and/or signed. thanks for asking jules! my ear is all well now. thankfully! i was a little worried there for a while but the ringing cleared up two days after. i was rushing that day of the concert and forgot to bring ear plugs. i am not usually this careless but i've sure learned my lesson. have a great weekend full of wine and excellent music! :)

i learned my lesson the hard way although i can say i was watching a worth while group (royksopp) at least? lol but yes, earplugs earplugs earplugs from now on. we must take care of our ears!

Adviruz is the artist pseudonym of Istanbul’s Pinar Gurcan, whose growing passion for sound is translated through her music. Since an early age, she has been listening and mimicking opera singers, writing melodies, songs and poems in which she spoke her mind and reflected her soul. All of which are evident on "Nightly Sounds", an 8 track album which is the equivilent of having a glimpse into a diary, learning of love lost, gained, a snapshot of the human condition from which we can all draw experience... All of these things are developed musically into minimalistic glitch, noise, idm, experimental music and microsounds, influences reminiscent of work by artists like Tujiko Noriko, Mira Calix, Plaid and Björk.

Yes Jules, sometimes times of difficulty can bring forth determination and creativity is so often the route for this to be expressed.

The days are becoming very short now, as the darkness and the cold closes in. But Spring will return again to warm our hearts and bring new hope.

Yeah, I'm on it...

I actually started last night, but ended up having a web-chat with Konrad! I forgot how dense the percussive layering was as well, so it's possible you may end up with more than the actual sample set. I had about three effects channels working too which helped to confuse me even more.
