you totally got the guy. there was this one moment at heaven, where in the middle of conducting you took a second and tousled colin's hair. people ask me about the shows and I try to describe it--the music and all the fine folks involved--but i don't have the right vocabulary. then I tell them about that gesture and they kinda sparkle and sigh with understanding. ahh. there are so many more guys to get. we gotta get you a bigger van.

"Never Enough Hope". is brilliant. Toby used to pick me up and hold me over his head. I was going to try to turn that into a metaphor, but, you know, whatever. I just really like the song.

toby is also an excellent teacher, and laura only wishes that she could continue her lessons with him, but moving from guitar to toning...a full -half- hour of toning with toby would be quite transcendental, she is sure.
