Voor de tweede maal organiseert het collectief annex label Lomechanik samen met Merleyn de Lomechanik Luisterclub. Dè avond voor avontuurlijke muziekliefhebbers met een voorliefde voor zowel breekbare fluisterliedjes als verknipt elektronisch experiment. In de zaal staan tafels en stoelen zodat je in een intieme sfeer releaxt kunt Luisteren. Op de vorige editie stonden ze nog onder de naam Bardt op het podium. Nu heten ze Bird en staan ze voor de tweede keer in de Luisterclub. Prachtige liedjes met gitaar, dwarsfluit, viool en bas. Vanwege de enthousiaste reacties wederom van de partij. Jan David Hogerheide maakt filmische muziek met gitaar, elektronica en meer instrumentarium. Spruit heeft een Avant-gardistische aanpak Hyper Cut Up muziek. Gastheer Jorg brengt ook zijn eigen sferische en groovende elektronica. Kom vroeg op de avond want dan mis je niets. En Lomechanik geeft kadootjes weg. Op 14 november, de dag van deze Luisterclub kun je op de Lomechanik website (www.lomechanik.com) gratis de laatste twee releases downloaden. Lomek 07 met het werk van Jorg en Lomek08, de verzamelaar Lomechanik Luisterclub met alle artiesten van deze en de voorgaande editie. Om dat te vieren zetten we na de optredens de stoelen en tafels aan de kant en dansen we op de platen van DJ Herrfer en Chaos Republic. Dus Downloaden, Aanschuiven en Dansen in die Club op 14e November. Aanvang 22.00. Entree 5 Euro. Adres: Merleyn Hertogstraat 13 te Nijmegen.

Monkey beats 2:

Op 25 april komt het Nijmeegse collectief annex label Lomechanik met Monkey Beats 2 in Merleyn. Lomechanik DJ's en gasten serveren u wederom het fijnste elektronische dansvoergeluid. Forlon bijvoorbeeld brengt nu eindelijk zijn eigen creaties. Hij maakt zowel warme laidback nummers als meer uptempo elektronica die je zowel laten wegdromen als doen rondstuiteren. db kan dat ook heel goed, vandaar dat deze heren elkaar live zullen opvolgen. De DJ's Herrfer, DaBoetieSjeeka en Jorg omlijsten het geheel met onder andere dubstepelectrohiphopbreaknoisecore. Vet feest dus. Wat moeten we je meer vertellen? Misschien dat Herrfer in het cafe een gedeelte van zijn platenwinkel neerzet, zodat je achteraf ook nog met fijn vinyl naar huis gaat.

Luisterclub:

Op 14 mei organiseert stichting PAN wederom weer een avond in Merleyn. Vanavond komt het collectief / anex label Lomechanik met een luisteravond.
De releases van Lomechanik zijn divers. Van rustige en filmische creaties tot noise en bijvoorbeeld breakcore. Bardt en Jak Peters hebben op de LP Lomek03 onder de namen Seegee en Maersk hun muziek uitgebracht. Bas van Huizen deed dat op de dubbel CD, Iets met Biets en Ruis voor Thuis. Jak Peters brengt zijn lieve maar ook scherpe liedjes als eerste live act vanavond. Bij deze songschrijver annex beeldend kunstenaar weet je nooit hoe het zal klinken en met welk instrumentarium hij aan komt zeten. Bardt omschrijft zijn muziek op zijn myspace pagina als koptelefoonmuziek om bij weg te staren. Inderdaad, muziek om bij weg te dromen. Vandaar dat we vanavond voor tafeltjes, stoelen en kaarsen zorgen. Bas van Huizen neemt ons mee naar meer duistere oorden. Met zijn live ingespeelde / opgebouwde ambient drones met noise uitbarstingen roept hij heel andere beelden op. Jorg en daboetiesjeeka brengen vooraf, tussendoor en na de optredens een fijne mix van filmische elektronische muziek en ander moois. Kom langs en schuif aan in Luisterclub Lomechanik.

He Radion, tijdje geleden.. alvast het beste voor 08.. Laat het je goed gaan,

Op 18 januari slepen Lomechanik DJ's Marcelle van Hoof, Da BoetieSjeeka, Chaos Republic en Jorg een berg vinyl naar Merleyn Nijmegen om een flink feestje te bouwen. Geheel tegen de traditie in vanavond geen live acts maar dit keer alleen plaatjes.. Fijne plaatjes.. Urban Oetang komt ook langs. Hij houd niet alleen van bananen maar ook van dikke booty electro en vette breaks, feest dus! Vanavond dus de fijnste en de nieuwste underground dance, omdat we zin we hebben om te dansen. Monkey Beat dusssSHH. Open: 22.00. De eerste 15 bezoekers ontvangen gratis de laatste Lomechanik dubbelaar "Iets met Biets en Ruis voor Thuis" T's maar dat je het weet. Groeten van Lomechanik.
