Quiet day at the store...was checking work email and decided to play a little.

How is Atlanta? Warm??? Sigh. It's a beautiful day in New York...blue sky, lots of sun..oh and snow and 32 degrees out...

I've been watching Beauty Shop almost non-stop lately (it's the one movie I have that I can put in and not pay that much attention to while I unpack from my move)..it's shot in Hot-lanta and makes me want to come down so bad! I will be there in October for sure as I have a reunion to attend!

Hope all is well with you. Tell the family "hi" for me!

are you not sooooo proud of our boys last night??? I actually didn't get to watch it on TV 'cause stupid ESPN blacked it out in g-ville but if that helped our team win, it was a well worth it!! ;)

Happy New Year!

I snuck into Burnsville over Christmas - got a couple days and surprised my family on Christmas Eve.

One note - I highly recommend going 19/26 to 19/23 into Burnsville the long way. STAY AWAY FROM IRON MOUNTAIN!!! (I was told it was a good thing I went at night and couldn't see where I was.)

I also learned it is better that if you need to go to the Micaville end of Double Island, it is better to go up to Hwy 19 off Iron Mountian and go around than to think you've lucked out and found a short cut then 12 curvy miles later realize that it definately wasn't.

I did get to see the llama farm.

Also, thank God Burnsville is a small town. I prayed for God to send some people to tell me where I was and - shocking in Yancey Co - there was a church..with people outside...and I said "Do you know the Chrisawn's?" Of course they did! "Two more miles!" Yay!

Hope you're holidays have been wonderful! Best wishes for 2008!

DR was amazing! I would love to live there...mmm, have a house near the not-so-developed beaches. the people are so nice. there were many haitians there, too. merry xmas to you!! cm on friday? we'll be there!

some old sh*t man - I don't work in RCRA anymore... I work in the capacity program, good stuff. I'll prob be in ATL next baseball season. Some guy from the Braves called me trying to sell me on a 9-game package. I told him that was way too many games... plus, the traded Edgar, so the Braves weren't on my top-spot whe he called. I'm going with single games next yr. 9-game package... laughable!

hell yeah man! the Tribe is my team too!

about last night's game, i'm callin this: Cleveland told the grounds-crew to not spray for bugs. They prepared all their players for the bugs and so when the swarm arrived, the Yankee's Players were more bothered by the bugs - did you see how the bugs were mainly on the road team!? anyway, haha thats great to use the homefield advantage!
