No hard feelings. -------------- Metal Clinic - Metalcation Compilation Vol. 1 Before reading the following message, Note: I have received a quote from the company handling this project. The total cost is $2,310.62. That's not including shipping to bands outside of local driving distance for me. I have a screen shot of the invoice also, if anyone wants proof that I'm serious about this project. Just so everyone knows the exact details, instead of being in the dark about shit. Also.. keep in mind that it's stuff like this that will draw attention. I've heard a lot of bands say they're tired of shitty promotion and promoters not doing stuff like this. So far I have only had one confirmation, and I've been posting about this almost all day. The quote is good for only 30 days. Then they raise the price on me for wasting their time. This means I have to find 25 bands interested, collect the money (I'm paying out of my pocket too.. this isn't a get rich quick scandal for me), collect the info (band photo, song name and mp3), place the order and send the graphics off in less than 29 days. Let's pull together and make this shit happen. I've set the deadline to May 14. That gives everyone 20 days to decide and raise the money. -----ORIGINAL MESSAGE----- Ever since Metal Clinic was started on October 26th of 2006, a 2 disc compilation of 25 bands has been a brewing idea. I know this is going to take some serious cash for only one person to take care of.. so this is where you and I come in. Here are the specs. Professionally printed CDs and cases with professional silk screen designed 2 paged leaflets (will have all the bands' contact info as well as any image of the full band you want). 1,000 copies total 25 bands 1 song per band $100
