damn i'm so amped! okay...you see those deals shootin to each other? i, myself, honestly i felt it was going to be a hoax..., but i did one a bit ago, for free $500 credit to shop @ Macys, and surprisingly it did work i can't believe it. you should go here and get one too, you see...?

While I haven't really been an active member of the Young Democrats as of late, the recent elections coming up this fall has gotten me reinvigorated.

I just wanted to point out that while some people may disregard myspace as a childish pass time, I think that creating a profile for the Young Democrats (as well as our candidates for this year's race) is a step in the right direction. After doing some research, I've discovered that other more liberal organizations have already begun utilizing myspace as a useful political tool.

Planned Parenthood has an amazing myspace website with over 11, 000 friends that we may be able to use as a model for what we want our own political myspace pages to be. They have links to their main page, as well as links to donating money, and their top friends are all other organizations from across the nation such as various NOW communities. Here's the link:

As I said, I think that the internet is going to be a useful tool in the upcoming election cycles and it's one that as forward-thinking Democrats we should take the most advantage of.
