I found this old photograph; taken back when I use to play at the Fata Morgana Jazz Club in London. It was the night the glorious Lady Day sat in with us to sing, “Fine and Mellow” (my favorite song of hers of all time!) I don't want to hear anyone bad-mouthing muggles, Billie Holiday had more magic in her voice than most Dark Wizards I know will have in all their soul.
I just wanted to share this with you. Thanks for the support. Cheers!

Today I am feeling obsessive about my bathroom, so here it is:
What if it all came down
to this? subdued spots
to do one's toes? A calm
sink to spit into?
Our bodies behind
closed doors. Crude
shadows at bath. Relaxed
and wild with it
we start,
we end
our days
a mirror
image.

Hi Mer! Thanks for the invite. Nice to meet a fellow writer. I see you like Tamora Pierce - I've had some readers compare my writing to hers.

hey there. sorry it took me a while to find you back. life gets kind of crazy these days... after I escaped the machine gun toting nuns and bushwacked my way through the jungle and found myself rescued by the gang of misfit clowns... well it took me a while to get back to the computer.
how the hell are ya?
