Hey Gary,
Can you believe bicycle riders in hawaii must wear a helmet, but not motorcycle riders?
I was driving down the H-1 Freeway and this tricked out harley slammed on the breaks right beside me at 60MPH to avoid hitting a car that had slowed down in front of him. He fish tailed madly but stayed upright miraculously.
Lucky for him, he wasn't wearing a helmet either.

let it rain

Thank you for sharing your experience with everyone concerning what happen to you when you had your motorcycle accident. We are all thankful you survived. I also thank you for stressing to everyone the importance of wearing a helmet. Helmets do save lives.

I have watched your drama..er life.. unfold time and again. I believe that you are an inspiration to many who face what might seem like insurmountable odds.

I have also watched you on the Trinity Broadcasting Network and the celebrity weight show. I imagine this leads you to conclude that I am either a tv junkie or a Gary Busey fan. The latter would be correct, your life has been fascinating to me and I wish you nothing but continued success.

Thanks for adding me!

I so admire you---for your acting and your activism on traumatic brain injury and promoting the use of helmets. One of my best friends was killed at the age of 21---riding at a high rate of speed, no helmet. He hit gravel, lost control and was thrown into a field. The bike travelled on another 138 feet without a driver. He was killed instantly.

As someone who has lost a friend, and as a nurse who used to work with people who've had TBI, I commend you!
