Rock and Acoustic (but preferably Acoustic Rock) is a definite, but we also fit into Folk Rock, Emo, Jazz - all of my collegiate arrangements with The Wheaton College Gentlemen Callers are A Cappela - I feel like none of these options really describe either of our sounds. I feel I that play what I refer to as Contemporary Music, and that your Guitar-Tapping Rhythmic Hybrid kind of has an Afro-Beat to it, kind of like Chris Lizzi, but HE's more of a Technical Player with Afro-Rhythm. The three of us have done such a wonderful job defining our own sounds over a lifetime that it's nice to say "I sound like me - take a listen"
