I wish he could've hanged on for one more year before he retired so he would've had a World Series ring, he so deserved it. I mean how many times can you be slapped in the face by the team you gave your life too , first in "96" you could have been the DH , I mean dam you missed out on the ring and now this I am over it .... I have been and will always be a DIE-HARD bombers fan until the day I die , but I grew up watching you I mean I played ball because of you , your a true yankee in my eyes forever ( shoot my favorite player still ). All I can hope is that you go to LA with Torre and make the yanks regret what they did. Things look like they are going to be crazy. I hate change and just about everything has changed in yankee world, and to top it off, this 2008 is the last year in the stadium. ya think everything would have stayed the same for one more year. then everything new with the new stadium. I am honestly depressed about this. i wish you luck anywhere you go. pinstripes or not you are an amazing person and ballplayer. J.R.J.R. Giorgi	Oct 29, 2007 7:44 PM I have never been more upset as a Yankee fan than I am today. There is no doubt in my mind that Donnie Baseball would have been more successful than Joe Girardi. This is a big mistake, and I am on the record as such. Who would've thought that the only bright spot in my day would be the greatest regular season baseball player (Pay-Rod), deciding he no longer wanted to be a Yankee. If the Yankees fuck up your love of the organization, they will have hell to pay anytime I set foot in that stadium.
