wow i'm so hyped! ever see those deals people send each other for cash cards? thought it was a joke huh? same here, but i tried one last week, a free one for $500 good for Macys, and surprisingly it did work i can't believe it. you should go here and get one too, see what i mean...?

Get some new judges or train better ones for Guitar Hero 2. They don't know what they are doing, the style judge needs to open his eyes and stop giving "6's" to people who just stood there and 4's to people who went as far as jumping once or twice.

I don't know what the difficulty judge was looking for, but he was harsh on everybody. The Accuracy Judge seemed to be judging more on performance accuracy and crowd reaction, not in-game accuracy.

It was all off, no one knew what they were expected to do. This is a fun new take on Pro Gaming, but at the moment it is doing nothing for it. It's bringing it backwards. Gamers play to be the best in pure score, not to look good while doing it. This is fun, but very casual, The WSVG Concept appeals to the hardcore. The ones who want to make a living doing this.

Without doubt the most satisfying time ive ever had beating someone at a computer game was a few weeks after the 2006 world cup had finished. After a poor showing by my national team England in the said competition i felt it was my duty to restore some pride by beating some ass on pro evolution soccer 5 online. whilst searching for an opponent i came across a particular loud and boystrous german player who assured me i would lose, which was on the cards judging from his world ranking ! i carried on anyway just content with finding a passionate opponent, the obvious teams were picked ( England v Germany ) and after what seemed like forever for him to choose his tactics, the game was underway! As he had warned me, i was 2-0 down after 25mins and also by then very bored of his pre-programmed macros sarcastic comments that were sent at every available opportunity! however i plugged away until half time with the score remaining at 2-0 germany.

maybe instead of critiscising him for his time in choosing tactics i should have focussed a little more on my own ! therefore the formation was changed and rooney was pushed further up the field.

the second half began with his usual comments but soon it all turned quiet when i converted an early penalty. "GAME ON !" now i felt as if could do it , the new found formation worked a treat as the long ball over the top coupled with owens pace split the german defence wide open time after time, after so many lucky saves from his keeper the score was soon 2-2 with just 5 mins remaining on the clock! All the possesion was with me and after doing what my freinds call my "weaving" technique, (which is me running around in circles and all strange directions beating his players but not getting anywhere!), he lunged in and i was awarded yet another penalty! i could have run outside and screamed my head off but that would have just been sad, so i didnt and slotted home the spot kick with no time for a german response! "3-2 !! and its all gone quiet over there" sprung to mind. The game was over in what seemed like seconds and the opponent departed the match room without any post match banter ( funny that :P ). Oh well its all just a nice memory now, but lets hope the real England team show the same passion in euro 2008! (and get some lucky penalties lol )

I have a friend who used to play sort of semi pro. He was a bit past it at the time that I played him though, but who cares right? I had been playing CSS for around 2 months, and I went on this server that he was playing on. We were on de_cbble, not one of my favourite maps, but it did the trick for me. Three times we went head to head, him in darkness and in reasonable cover, and me there, in open ground. Three times I beat him, one after another. I was so proud because he was really good when I first played him, he was still good, but I was good too! I never thought I would get good at the game, but I struggled my way through!

After that I decided to quit while I was ahead.

There was another time when I filled in for a clan friendly, it was my first proper clan match, and I was faced with four of the opposing team on de_dust2. I took them all down, but unfortunately, didn't have enough time to defuse. It was a great moment though, and it got me a permanent place in the clan.

I had so much fun playing CSS.

The most fun i've ever had beating someone at a video game was a tekken tag tournament we had at a party once. We invited all our friends to the party (about 50 people) and all those that wanted to take part paid 50p. 26 people in total entered. We drew up a board of all those people taking part so everyone knew who they were playing. The rules were simple, you had to choose your characters at random and the best of three fights went through. Well the night went on and i didn't get to use my favourite characters often. As it was my game and my house i was doing well, beating everyone and not losing one game until it came to the final. Myself and a friend called niel. Fortunately when i chose my characters at random i was given hwoarang and law so the win was in the bag really. I won one round and lost the second. It all came down to this third round. A few lucky hits and i was declared the winner and won £13. It was a good night of video games and intoxication!!
