There was this other place that was pretty cool called the Fools Foundation, but the last time I checked they were out of commision forthe time being, but you might want to look em up just in case. You can ask the Java Lounge dudes for suggestions on other venues in the area. The people 'round these parts are generally really nice easy going folk. Also, if you wanna travel a little outside of Sacramento into gold rush territory(might be a little outta the way), you can mozy on over to this old gold mine/vegan restaurant/ venue of the town called Placerville, also known as old hang town (yes, this town is responsible for a lotta broken necks). There's a bit of a hippy scene goin' on but I'd think they be pretty receptive. Oh yeah, its called the Cosmic Cafe. Look em up. Good luck dude!

(maybe for a free cd...haha) There are tons of places for cabins, at different levels of seclusion from the rest of the world. For instance...Big Lake, where everyone seems to have a cabin, and it's relatively close to the nearest town. And then there are the places that are really really spread out, where everyone is pretty self-reliant. And along the way, there are tons of hippie-ish places. It's good stuff.
