I just wanted to check in. I remember how amazing your music was. Plus your designs are amazing. The Works and the Days of Hands sounds amazing. The female vocals on Creeping are amazing. Quiet Music Ensemble
The Quiet Music Ensemble is a new, Cork-based Contemporary Music Group led by composer and performer John Godfrey, which will launch in July 2008. The QME is dedicated to music that invites deep attention and perceptive listening; music that is immersive, reflective, and introspective; music that is an experimentation with, and meditation on sound itself and our relationship with it.
Our launch event, the Quiet Music Festival (June 29th to July 6th) is a celebration of Experimental Music from Ireland and abroad. The festival aims to be engaging for experienced listeners and accessible to new audiences through active, creative education projects and an innovative performance programme.
