Undercover operation in India - by Anthony Marr

Calcutta sounds like a fable in a song, but in reality, it is where John, my colleague and successor, was murdered. He was on the job for only three days when he got his throat slashed. As an undercover investigator targeting the illegal wildlife trade, especially in tiger parts, his real name was unknown, even to me, nor mine to him. We were just John and James to each other. All I know is that he was Chinese American, while his predecessor James - real name Anthony Marr - is Chinese Canadian, and how sincere he was in helping to save the Bengal tiger from being poached out of existence, while its habitat continues to dwindle due to human pressure.

It would have been me who got killed had I not been called to the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh - the "Tiger State" - to investigate a dreadful wave of poaching which wiped out10 of their 40 tigers in 12 months. What John and I were after was the identities of the trading party/ies, the location/s of the loot, and the routes and means by which it was transported to its destination, usually China. Once these were uncovered, we would inform police, who would then go and make arrests and seizures. How we did it is confidential. Suffice to say that we were both posing as Chinese buyers...

A look at the lies and propaganda used to start and maintain wars. From WWI up to the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, soldiers have been duped into believing they are fighting for a "good" cause. Yet, as the wars have all been based on lies, all soldiers who have died have died needlessly. And of the ones who return, many are seriously ill from exposure to chemical and biological hazards, on top of being injected with multiple experimental and dangerous vaccines - the military are used as guinea pigs then kicked to the kerb by their government who then lie and coverup the issue.

War is only beneficial to those who create, steer and profit financially from the perpetual war machine - their hands are stained with the blood of millions.

This is not a for profit anouncement but a way to promote quitting smoking on Freedom Village Quit Smoking Forum. I will understand if you wish not to have this message posted on your MySpace site.

Coming soon……A FREEDOM VILLAGE QUIT SMOKING FORUM CONTEST!

I will soon be announcing a contest on Freedom Village Quit Smoking Forum for smokers who want to quit, smokers who have recently quit or long term ex-smokers who have been quit for a year or longer. I’m not yet sure how I want to conduct this contest or what the rules will be but I’m thinking the prize or prizes, combined, could total as much as $250.00! (This is an amount I have committed to withdraw from my Savings and I know it will be well worth it.) All I can say is, keep an eye on the Forum and make posts you think will help others to quit cigarettes…..tell your story about how you quit or what makes you want to quit, etc., ….this may or may not turn out to be the contest and you may be an instant winner(s).
