The Prince of Wales is to host Kettering’s official Comic Relief Night. The Theme is fancy dress ‘bad taste’ night, which means anything goes. There are many prizes to be won including the worst dressed. Throughout the night there will be crazy competitions, games and giveaways but most importantly let’s not forget, The sole purpose is to raise money for comic Relief so you may be asked to dig deep into your pockets .
Please give generously!

The music will be varied but focused on the party feel.
It's gonna be awesome, See you there!

Make Music – Raise Money – End Poverty

Love Music? Oxjam Needs You!

The Oxjam Music Festival is a nationwide scheme to raise money for Oxfam GB. Oxjam is made up of many small to large events organised by members of the public to make one big festival. It’s about local people giving their time, skills, and passion to organise small events with personality.

Volunteer for one of the Support Team positions below to help make this year's Oxjam Festival in Central England the most successful ever!.
Oxjam Support Officer
Provide top tips and advice to event organisers.
Oxjam Recruitment and Relationships Officer
Build a base of event organisers and develop community contacts to aid their success.
3-6 months, 4-10hrs per week. Ideally located near Coventry

Oxjam Local Co-ordinators
Co-ordinate event organisers and spread the word.
Located anywhere in Leicestershire, Warwickshire & Northamptonshire
3-9 months.

Deadline - 24 November 2008

We are also looking for musicians, event organisers and volunteers.

Hi, i just set up this page to try to get players into the club, so ive added a few local people, hope you dont mind.

I doubt you know of any kids aged 5-14 that might want to join the club? Any brothers/sisters/neighbours/friends with kids?We train and play at Wollaston School (about 3 or 4 miles from Wellingborough). Training on Saturday mornings, the 5-7 year olds train from 9.30 to 10.30, the 8-14/15 year olds train from 10.00 to 12.00.

SINGER & MUSICIANS WANTED!

Hello. I'm a 19 year old Songwriter/Guitarist (I also play bass guitar & drums) looking for a musical duo with a Singer (who can preferably play an instrument as well - but this ISN'T necessary) - OR a band with a Singer and some other musicians.

I've written lots of songs - hear some at: www. myspace. com/robsuttonmusic I also have band & gig experience, had music lessons, and jammed with lots of people.

I'm happy to play any music the singer and/or musicians want! And to let the singer and/or musicians write for the band if they want. I have very eclectic music tastes, and I mostly play Indie/Electro. Acoustic/ Folk/Rock/Gothic - but I'm in no way bound to those styles! I'm also really into poetry and song lyrics.

Age probably isn't an issue.
