We are playing at Ruby Tuesday (the bar, not the restaurant chain) on 05/30/09, but its not about us. Sharing a stage with us that night are Times After Dusk and Unisoul--both bands are a must see for anyone who appreciates original music. Its been a while since we've come across bands this good. Please check them out.

Dear Friends:

Just wanted to let everyone know that May 9th we are participating in Momma Green Spring Cleanup, a community street cleanup which takes place around Children's Hospital. The actual cleanup is 9am-noon, but refreshments will be served at 8:15. Everyone is welcome to join our group (Crime and Punishment) or you can start your own. As a small token of appreciation, all participants of appropriate age will receive a free admission to one of our upcoming shows. Dirty Jack’s is committed to making sure that you earn the money you deserve. We are capable of paying you more as a local band than any other venue you are currently working in the Greater Cincinnati, but we all need to work together to do it! This event was created to hear what we have to offer you and for you to offer up your suggestions and give us your feedback. We hope to plan more events similar to this on a regular basis.

This night is dedicated to the great musicians of our fair town and we offer you a chance to come in, drink cheap, interact with your local music community and see our club with no cover if you have not had the opportunity.

Dirty Jack’s is located at 5912 Vine St. in Elmwood Place, right in the middle of the 275 loop and 1 mile north of the P&G Ivorydale plant (St. Bernard Soap Company). Street parking is available as well as in the municipal lot located at the northwest corner of the club at Linden and Vine.

My drummer (Will Ong) was in the hospital from 7-28 to 8-08 with organized pneumonia, and chronic influencea & boop.

He has tiny holes in his lungs traping air in his chest, throat and sometimes shoulder blades. He had a lung byopsy almost three weeks ago that didn't help with the diagnosis. He also had a chest tube in him for a week along with a bronchoscopy. He eneded up leaving with 3 staples and 12 stitches in on his side along with a nice hole from the chest tube. He is currently home on an oxygen machine for 2 months. The doctors don't know if these holes in his lungs will seal up or if the infection will return so It might be longer.

There are a couple of benefit shows coming up to help Will pay for his $72,000 and rising hospital bill. On top of the several doctors I need to see in the next few weeks.
One of hese shows is 9-12-08 @ the High Five 9pm to Midnight.
