Dr. Klock, I really worship you. I listened to your first CSG interview/call-in and it, honestly, blew my mind. Thanks to you I pulled out my old issues of JLA Classified 1-3 and I'm having a blast re-reading them. Thanks.

NEW COMICS FOR SUMMER 2007: THE DRIFTER #1, RECUR #3, SOME AGORAPHOBIC GIRL, WHAT IF BON SCOTT WAS THE HERALD OF GALACTUS, IDP DIGEST #1,

GUDGUD Magazine

May 24, 2007 2:20 AM

Just wanted to let you (and your comment-reading friends) know that GUD Issue 1 is now available for purchase!

Issue 1 comes to life with Darby Larson's "Electroencephalography" where an experiment in robot-building goes terribly awry. And if you've ever woken up with an unexpected physical deformity—say, an arrow in your heart—you'll truly enjoy the next story. There's also a smattering of flash fiction and psychedelia; a straight-out story where things aren't what they seem, poetry that takes you from the perverse to the sublime, some magic realism, science fiction, and a few letters to another species thrown in for good measure. We haven't forgotten those of you with a literary bent. In addition, the artwork in this issue is particularly strong, with oil paintings, watercolors, photography, and photo illustrations complementing the words with which they are paired.

Thanks for being a friend!

I'm starting work on first issue on what I hope to be at least a 12 part grapic novel. Basic mundane premise. No sci-fi or super-hero stuff. i'll send you an online copy once I'm done.

All the girls out there are totally lying when they tell you that size does not matter. Want proof?
I am telling you this because it is the honest truth, look I should know, they say that it is all in the way you use it, not how big it is, well I got news for you all, that is pure lies.
I know from personal experience, I will tell you about a secret that Joey has made me promise to never ever tell anyone, but since he has not called me in three weeks after standing me up, I am going to break the promise and tell you how he went from having a tiny wang and in 4 months he is now about nine inches and get this, it is still getting bigger. He has been secretly taking grow pills from this site, copy and paste the address into your browser to see them. DSEYA.COM
I found out when I was at his house, three fridays ago, we were getting ready to go to the mall, so while he was in the shower, I went in his room, sneeked under his bed and found a box with pill bottles in it, there was like 9 full bottles and 4 empty ones, all ordered from DSEYA.COM I was laughing at first but then when he came in the room and caught me looking at them, he freaked out and made me sware to not ever tell anyone about them, especially girls from school or work that he has been dating for the past while, now that I think of it, he has been rather busy with all the popular girls around here, when just last year he was the shyest when it came to girls.
I just never put two and two together until he explained it all to me, I did see his prick and yes, it is huge, pronostar huge, the thickest and longest one I ever seen.
I know this sounds really shallow, but I am considering ordering 6 bottles from the website at DSEYA.COM for you know who.. he does not have a myspace account, so he is not gonna see this. They guarentee that the pills will work on any man, or they give you your money back, living proof that they do work on any guy, seeing is believing. DSEYA.COM

Hey Geoff! I am rereading your wonderful book How to Read Superheroes and Why! I just wanted to say thank you for writing what should be considered a seminal text on understanding the superhero narrative of the modern age!

Do you think Astro City is moving into the new age with the release of their recent Dark Age series? Are they finally acknowledging that Dark Knight and Watchmen happened? And did Kurt Busiek realize he needed to write that story after reading your book?

LOL

Thanks!
