I have been falling very much in love with soul, such as Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin. I was wondering if you had any suggestions for me cause I cannot get enough. Seriously, no other kind of music makes me so happy, and I'm not even touching on the emotion that their voices bring. I'm sure you can feel me on this but I would love any other artist suggestions!

David	Nov 18, 2007 5:37 AM hey papa papa papa Hope the little one and the new mom are both doing super well. things are really, really good here and really blah, sometimes alternating between one and the other in the same hour. I had built such a arty life for myself in mass that I miss it now, although it's great teaching in an MFA Program. New book coming out this summer...9 stories...all about stupid and weird men. Just had knee surgery from a basketball injury. I think I might have to hang up my #W(% sneakers and I'm pretty broken up about it. Dylan and Melina are fantastic, or at least that's what they tell me.

I have to admit that I am thoroughly bored without school, which I am thinking is a good indication that I should return soon. I am serving at Spragues (turns out I can make more money there than I can anywhere else around here)You and the fam should come grab a bite if your hankering for some pancakes. Pining AwayJeremy Hall	Apr 15, 2007 9:50 AM I have to admit that what drew me to Verbicide's existence was the presence of The Mars Volta on the cover. I, as well as many people, have been a devoted fan since the At the Drive-In days and I have been routinely been blown away on both the studio and live-performance platforms since...anyhoo. When I saw Cedric and Omar on the cover, I picked up the issue and was pleasantly surprised with the ensuing contents. I would love to contribute to the magazine if any help is needed or even discuss current or seemingly irrelevant issues (I get the feeling that that's what our community is all about). I'm really glad to have made a new friend. Thanks Mark.

I'm a high school English teacher and I've spent this semester subjecting my students to Orwell and Vonnegut (RIP) and Huxley. The gradual rewriting of history holds some frightening promises.
