"Free"...I like the verses (flute is a nice touch)..."It's me against the world...". That works for me.

Personally, I would leave out the piano intro...maybe just four bars of a cool flute into and then straight into the first verse.

For me, the song would come together better if the syncopated piano parts weren't in the song, and it remained solely that washed out, trippy, vibey track.

Great thing about being Indie is you don't have to write or play the role of any one type of artist. Clearly you are evolving and left behind will be influences and inspirations that no longer play a current role in your creative process. Each new song, for you, is a blank canvas, so be creative and paint whatever picture comes into your mind.

ur funny...interesting as in a good way. The title is thought provoking.

I hear a definite evolution in your music.

"Free" has cool structure and texture. You've gathered up a few more 'tricks of the trade', and your songwriting proves that.

You're right tho, I do really want a baby bump. I don't think a real baby bump is ever gonna happen for me, though. :( I've pretty much given up on that. Oh well, I'm sure there is a reason for that too. I'm just gonna pour whatever energy I'd have spent mothering, on the dogs and training. It IS a passion of mine, after all. It's my music. =o)

And for the record if I were really actually pregnant I'd have spammed you and your MySpace about it until you responded lol. You'd be among the first I'd share the news with!

i'm not one to brag, but we did a great job in montreal. we are gelling as a band should and I have a feeling we are gonna be good team and some great music is going to be spilling from our machines. i have hope and spirit once again - it's been a while but i have fire in me. Dave knows what i'm talking about and i really hope he may feel it too.
