We're playing at The Thekla in Bristol tomorrow night. We hope you can come. Its a special multi-media show with a vj mixing footage from Baka land with live film and effects. Come and dance and spread the word to your friends. It'll be a great night.
We'll be playing songs from our new album "Baka Beyond the Forest" as well as some old favourites. Its the 5-piece line up featuring Molara, Fela Kuti's niece and the original voice of Zion Train, joining Su on vocals.
You can hear clips on our website (www.baka.co.uk) and our Myspace page.
It starts early (7.30pm) so don't be late!

Hi Emma! Yes I've joined the MySpace community... does that make me young and hip?! Actually this bass player I know in Italy told me I had to join as apparently that's how contacts are made abroad, and even gigs sorted out.

I'm doing fine thanks, been quite busy lately which is a good thing I suppose. Would love to work with you sometime as well. Anyway, I'm going to try and come to your next gig at the tantric, seem to have been playing there a lot recently so would be nice to sit in the audience for a change..
