To be honest, I wasn't entirely aware of the meaning of "squirrelly", either (depending on context, I've heard it used over here in the UK, in place of "secretive"... after the cartoon "Secret Squirrel", no doubt). But Merriam-Webster's online thingumajig reveals it as "nutty"... ...which of course equates to "eccentric, silly; also: mentally unbalanced". "Froggy" it is, then. :)
